Enable users to create their own universe, a custom selection of stocks based on filters such as sector, exchange, or custom tickers. Each universe can be saved, reused, and enhanced with smart suggestions.

Examples

“All global breweries” → show top 10 by market cap or performance.
“AEX Healthcare” → dynamic sector-based list.
“My Favorites” → manually curated list with "smart" recommendations for similar or related stocks.

Core features

Create and manage personal universes.
Filter by sector, exchange, region, or manual tickers.
Automatically save universes per user.
Smart suggestions (based on similarity in metrics, sector, or correlation).
Sorting and display options (e.g., top 10 by performance or dividend yield).

Technical notes

Extend backend filtering and data query logic.
Add a dedicated “Universe Builder” frontend component.
Integrate with existing watchlist and recommendation engines.

Acceptance criteria

✅ Users can create and save at least one universe.
✅ Smart suggestions appear after creation.
✅ Universes persist per user.
✅ UI matches EVR design standards.

Ideally multiple server-side named watchlists based on universes. As there are a few set universes (country, sector, industry, exchange) it should be possible already to create a watchlist based on all stocks in a sector.
